VOICES of Women Entrepreneurs – Micro-Lending
We will attribute a sizeable portion of funds raised to inject funds into a leading micro-lending initiative,
to economically empower businesswomen. When women are empowered to act, they influence positive
social change and contribute to increased quality of life for the entire family.
We will research, expand, and implement instruments to tap capital markets for social investment capital, to stimulate a major
injection of funds into micro-lending initiatives.
Seek to initiate a strategic partnership with the International Finance Corporation and the Women’s Global Banking Alliance for Women, whose members share global best practices in financial services delivery to women to accelerate the
growth of women in business and women’s wealth creation.

The WomenAID Live! Global Action Fund
Funds raised by WomenAID Live! will be held by the WomenAID Live! Global Action Fund, a non-profit,
which will disburse the funds to a consortium of existing organizations. The Women AID Live Steering Committee will make recommendations on enterprises to fund, which will be ratified by the Board of Directors.
Why We’re Needed?
- Currently, only 7% of all philanthropic dollars fund programs for women and girls.
- Although the linkage of gender inequality, poverty, and violence against women and HIV has emerged with increasing insistence, funding to tackle this pandemic is vastly inadequate.

The global recession and financial crisis has hit the most vulnerable half of humanity with exceptional force. If this crisis
causes us to re-evaluate what is really important, and how we are all interdependent and interconnected, and nudges us to
open our hearts to lend a helping hand to all those in dire need, then in the end it may prove to be a promising
